Nick Clay - Finance Director
“I’ve been working for Bottlegreen Drinks Co. since 2004 and my varied roll of Finance, HR, IT and Logistics keeps me very busy. The rapid growth of Bottlegreen over the last couple of years has led to a lot of challenges and opportunities which keep the job both exciting and fulfilling.” Nick

Paul Martin - Operations Director
“I started with the company in 1990.  My apprenticeship was as a Marine Engineer in the Merchant Navy, followed by a degree in Mechanical Engineering and then 5 years as Head of Mathematics in a local Secondary School.

In the beginning years of Bottlegreen it was ‘all hands on’ so all four of us were involved in all aspects of production, purchasing, sales and distribution. As the company grew, I was responsible for the production and plant changes that enable us now to produce in excess of 12 million bottles per year.  Over this time I have become more focused on the production and operations side of the business.  My role now as Operations Director is to oversee all aspects of the site, plant and production to ensure that we can meet new sales demands.

Nigel Osborne– Strategic Planning Director

Daniel Duprat – Business Development Manager for the South East
“Bonjour! I am a French guy from Lyon who started to work for Bottlegreen Drinks Co. in 2006 to develop the sales in South East England. As Bottlegreen are as passionate about their drinks as the French are about their wines there is no question why I decided to join the team! Au revoir!” Daniel

Giuliano Mai – National Account Manager
“I joined Bottlegreen Drinks Co. in Jan 2006. I look after a number of the major retailers making sure our loyal and growing army of ‘fans’ can always find their Bottlegreen ‘fix’! I love my job… Bottlegreen is a great place to work and the best thing is being part of a winning team and working with such a great bunch of friendly and talented people. When I am not thinking about cordial I like to relax by indulging my passion for food & wine (I spend as much time in the kitchen as I do in the office) as well as a spot of fishing or lawn bowls or if the weather is nice with my feet up in the garden a cold beer in hand strumming away on my guitar and annoying the neighbours!” Jools

Steve Harrison - National Sales Manager
“As National Sales Manager for Foodservice and Independents I am responsible for a team of 5 looking after the whole of the foodservice, on-trade and symbol groups, I started working for Bottlegreen Drinks Co. in 2005, previously in varied career I have travelled all over China and the Far East trading in many products and have also run my own hotel. I live in the Cotswolds, am married to Christine and have 2 children Jessica & Thom.” Steve

Colin Earby – Business Development Manager for the South West
“Started in Jan 2006 as the Business Development Manager for the South West, West Midlands and Wales. I have 9 years experience in both the alcoholic and soft drinks market. I’m a family man with 2 beautiful children Brooke & Piper. My favourite thing about working at Bottlegreen Drinks Co. is and meeting new people on a daily basis and I enjoy playing golf and football on my days off.” Colin

Daniel Harwood – Business Development Manager for the North
“I started with Bottlegreen Drinks Co. in June/July 2005. I am the Business Development Manager for the Northern Region. I live in a wee village just outside Lanark with my Wife and 2 kids. In my spare time I like drinking Whisky and chasing Haggis round the Lochs and Glens in my Kilt. I enjoy playing football, golf and cooking in my spare time.

Simon Hall – Key Account Development Manager - Foodservice
“I joined the sales team in June 07 to help grow & develop the Foodservice Nationals. I’ve worked in the Catering Industry since 1984! First as a Chef in the RAF, and then I directed my food knowledge into sales, working for various food & beverage manufacturers.

My first impressions of Bottlegreen Drinks Co, were that I’ve joined a friendly ‘family like’ company that looks after their people and has a great attitude to work and the products we produce. I’ve been buying bottlegreen presses and cordials for a few years, so jumped at the chance to work for the company! I can now keep my wife in supply of her favourite, Ginger & Lemongrass” Simon

“I have been with Bottlegreen Drinks Co. since 2003, I started as a Key Account Manager and progressed through to National Accounts Food Service and On-trade before moving on to Multiple Retail. I lead a fairly active life outside work, love sports, football, badminton, snowboarding & fishing. Outside of work I surround myself with great friends and family and enjoy a rich social life. Alli Capon - Key Account Manager
“I have only been with the company since the beginning of July 2007. My first impression of the business is that everyone enjoys working for Bottlegreen and that there is a lot of PASSION for the brands and the attitude to meet customer needs. With a background in alcohol this portfolio makes a pleasant change from all the restrictions I encountered before.

“Likes chicken, golf, fishing, martial arts and more chicken! I am known as chicken Jon because I eat a whole roasted chicken for lunch nearly everyday! The lovely ladies at the Somerfields hot counter in Nailsworth know me very well and always save a good one for me! I love working at Bottlegreen and have been here since July 2006. My job as a Procurement Manager means I have a varied range of responsibilities and get to interact with a number of departments within the company which I really enjoy.” Jon

“I joined the company in 1995 as a line supervisor and am now Production Manager. I took three months off to do voluntary work in Namibia in 2004. I live in Stroud and am married with a small son and a large dog.” Graham

“I make drinks, complete batch quality assurance (inc. lab analysis), stock control, new product development and general mixing room management.

Outside Bottlegreen I work in a pub, play rugby, and like hunting! I like natural light, doughnuts and wine. I dislike The Guardian!” Ed

Lucy Wiltshire – Brands Marketing Executive
“I started working for Bottlegreen Drinks Co. at the end of 2006 and love my role as Brands Marketing Executive. There is a real vibe and atmosphere in the office and factory which makes it a great place to work! Plus I found out Big Al in the factory is my cousin by marriage (small world … big family!). We get lovely hand written letters and cards from our customers and I even get accosted on trains by people telling me how much they love our drinks! I know they are good but I can honestly say I have never worked for a company that sparks such a passionate reaction from their customers! Makes my job easy! Paula Mitchell – Logistics Administrator
“I haven’t been with Bottlegreen Drinks Co. very long, but I really like my position and all of my colleagues. My main jobs include: taking the orders and processing them, dealing with PODs, dealing with any delivery problems and some of the invoicing. I previously worked and lived in Somerset, but I am glad that I moved to Gloucestershire, I am really enjoying it here!” Paula

Katie Davis – Sales Office Manager
“I have been with the company since 1999. I originally started work on the production line as a summer job while studying at college, I then progressed to Logistics Administrator, then Logistics Manager and now onto my current role as Sales Office Manager. I enjoy gardening, camping, walks with my dog and spending time with my family and friends.” Katie (or Kakey as we like to call her!)

Peter O’Flaherty - Technical Manager
“I started on 10th May 2000 as Quality Assurance Manager and was tasked with obtaining Laboratory Accreditation for the on site Lab. I then went on to work on the quality side of things, from testing raw materials and finished drinks to keeping the supermarkets and wholesalers who like lots of paperwork happy.

Over the years I have worked closely with the rest of the team, to continually improve the Quality Management System and Factory standards. I was made Technical Manager this summer and now the main role is being responsible for the technical area of the company.

Likes: Dedicated staff and good quality drinks you can believe in, also copious amounts of cakes in the Kitchen when it’s someone’s birthday

Beverly Roberts – Technical Officer
“I have worked in the food industry for 13 years and started at Bottlegreen Drinks Co. in April 2001.

Initially employed in the mixing room with the famous Chris Baker (King of Drinks) making the drinks, starting up in the early mornings (6 o'clock starts!!) as well as cleaning down at night but I also helped out with all the paperwork. A year later, I moved out of production and put all my experience to good use to develop the technical side of the business including a new quality management system.

The favourite thing about my job is customer satisfaction. I deal with customer complaints and being in direct contact with customers has its rewards. Customers appreciate being in contact with the supplier and the good customer service we provide.

Jill Price - Accounts
“My name is Jill Price. I work in the accounts department and my main role is Purchase Ledger Control, I have worked for Bottlegreen for nine years.  I have seen various changes during the growth of the company, but it still retains a friendly and caring environment to work in.

I married in Las Vegas in October 2006.  I have three children, a granddaughter and another grandchild on the way.

I enjoy travelling with my husband when time allows, flower arranging and D.I.Y.” Jill

Michelle Wildin – Accounts Assistant
“I am an accounts assistant and have been working for Bottlegreen Drinks Company since 2005. My main duties are Sales Ledger, Reporting and Payroll – I am everybody’s favourite person on payday!!!

I don’t really have a favourite thing about working here, but if I had to choose one then it would be the people. We are a little Bottlegreen family!!! Bottlegreen is a great place to work, and it’s even better when it’s someone’s birthday and they have to bring in the cakes!!! Doughnuts, chocolate éclairs, brownies…the list goes on!

I live in the Forest of Dean, so I have quite a long journey to work each day, but it’s worth the trek!! It gives me plenty of time to listen to music and the journey home helps me wind down after a busy day.” Michelle

“My name is Lee and I started to work at Bottlegreen Drinks Co. in 1993. I started in the factory helping with packaging and bottling and I am now working as Warehouse Manager. I have seen many changes in the company of the years as you can imagine! I have a wife and a daughter who I spend my spare time with at home.” Lee

Scott Spiers Warehouse Operative
“Hi I’m Scott AKA Spidey as some call me! I am one of two warehouse operatives here at Bottlegreen Drinks Company that run the day to day operations in the warehouse. From goods in and out to working in the bottling hall, making deliveries and even some I.T work, so pretty much an all rounder really.

I have been here since 2006 and have found the settling in period to be short and easy as everyone is so friendly and professional. I am married with a little boy of 3 whose name is also Scott and love being part of 2 families, the one I have at home and the one I have at work - so its all good!” Scotty

Alan Grant (Large and in charge!) – Bottling Hall Manager
“Hello people I’m another person who started life as an elderflower picker. I was then asked to work on the packing line for 1 day and that was 15 years ago and they still can’t get rid of me!! I’ve been Bottling Hall Manager for about the last 10 years so as you can imagine I have seen lots of changers from bottling 4000 bottles a week to now doing 10,000 bottles an hour. When I do get a day off I enjoy a round of golf with my near single handicap, so if anyone wants to invite me to any golf days please feel free to do so!!”

“In May 2004 I came to the UK from Slovakia. After a few weeks I started to work as a packer for Bottlegreen Drinks Co. From my first days at Bottlegreen I couldn’t imagine staying here very long, but then I met great people and I liked my job! After more than 3 years working here I still feel great and I enjoy everyday here working as a Production Operative. 

In my free time I like to go walking, hiking and spending time with nature. In winter time I like snowboarding and cross country skiing. I love travelling and exploring new countries and culture. And that’s it!” Zuzana

Matt Shipton - Production Supervisor
“I have worked at Bottlegreen since 2004 and really enjoy my role within the team. On a day to day basis my responsibilities are based on keeping the bottling machines running and ensuring that the high standards of quality and integrity are maintained in an efficient and effective way.

When not in the company of several hundred thousand bottles I do my best to annoy my wife as much as I can. I can usually be found driving my 100 year old steam roller as far and wide as possible. I also run a music web site, record label and a band, but the least said about that the better!”  Matt
